Can I get a refund, defer, or transfer my registration?

Unfortunately we do not offer refunds, or deferrals.
Should you wish to transfer your entry to another runner, please notify us via email lancingcollege10k@runbase.co.uk
The deadline for transfers is 1st March 2018.

Can I enter on the day of the race?

It is very unlikely that you will be able to enter on the day.
If places do remain available, this will be publicised via the event website and social media.

When do entries close?

Entries close at midnight on Sat 6th April, late entrants will be able to pick up their race number from the help desk on the morning of the race.

How old do I need to be to run?

Runners need to be at least 15 years old on the day of the event.

Can I enter a group of friends or colleagues?

Yes, you can enter a group of up to 5 runners on each registration.

How will I know if my entry has been processed?

You will receive an email confirmation from lancingcollege10k@runbase.co.uk

Can I amend my registration details?

Should you wish to amend your registration details, such as a change of address or mobile number. Please email lancingcollege10k@runbase.co.uk

When will I receive my race pack?

Your race pack, including your number, and race guide will be sent in the post approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

Can I wear headphones?

Due to the event being held on completely closed carriageways, runners are permitted to wear headphones whilst participating in the event. Any decreased awareness caused by the use of headphones is entirely at the runners liability.

Can I use a wheelchair, pushchair, or buggy?

The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or buggies.

Are their first aid points on the course?

Yes, there will be medical treatment centre located at the start/finish and mobile medical resource covering the course.

Is there a time limit to complete the race?

The race is open to runners of all abilities.
If you anticipate that it will take you longer than 100mins to complete the race, please notify us via email lancingcollege10k@runbase.co.uk.

Are there km markers?

Yes, there are markers at each km point on the course.

What is the closest train station to the race?

Shoreham-by-Sea train station is located 2 miles from the start of the race.

Can I run in fancy dress?

Yes indeed!
However if your costume is really extreme then please let us know lancingcollege10k@runbase.co.uk

What time should I arrive?

It’s best to arrive no later than 0900hrs to ensure you’re able to drop your bag, visit the loos & have a stress free warm up ready for the start at 1000hrs.

Where can I park my car?

Free parking for all participants is available at Ricardos, Shoreham-by-Sea
West Sussex BN43 5FG.
The start is a 10 minute walk from the carpark.

Can I run with my dog?

I’m afraid it’s a no for this year, we will be reviewing this decision for the 2019 event.
